I joined at a time when I was craving singing with with an incredible ensemble, and I found that with Tonality. Not only that, but it has the capacity to be beautiful, heartbreaking, visceral, and joyful all at once in both its musicality and messaging. I had to audition.
Simply put, there is no group like Tonality. An ensemble that fully embraces choral/vocal music and merges it brilliantly with bringing attention to social issues. As it turns out, there's no better way to tap into the authenticity of the human experience than with the voice itself.
One of my favorites was backstage just before my first concert. We shot a promotional video where we all danced together. It was a fun, silly moment with good people that helped me feel truly at home.
